Lurlynn Franklin is a visual artist, an art educator, and a creative writer living and working in Memphis, TN. She specializes in traveling creative exhibitions and performances that focuses on societal issues. As an arts educator she works with children utilizing art as a means of grounding them and guiding them in developing those foundational skills that could be used in any subject area and needed to succeed in the world: to have Discipline, to Persevere and to remain Focused until the job is done are the tenets of her teaching strategies.
