Nandi La Sophia is an artist working in the mediums of music, tattoos, paint/assemblage, words, and performance. Her work centers on stories related to Queer issues, mental health, her experience as a transfemme, a Santera (a priest in the Lucumi tradition of Santeria), growing up in the punk scene, drug addiction, recovery, homelessness, and lastly, as a person who's endured multiple sexual traumas. Her characters often reflect some or all of these things. She also makes Vagina pillows which can be seen on the TV series "Portlandia," or in her Etsy store (etsy.com/shop/chochamilagros). She has published a book of poetry (Little Prisons, available on lulu.com), and a collection of stories, plays, and "trash" (Stagger, available on Amazon.com). Her music can be found on Soundloud (twinsouls).
