Robert Moore is a photographer based in Dallas. After a 30-year career in news publishing he turned his focus to black and white Documentary and Street Photography in locations around the world, primarily Asia and his hometown. “To me, black and white photographs best elicit that raw emotional connection, and put the viewer into my shoes as I walk the streets of this world,” says Moore. There is now a significant exception to his black and white work, the color photos of the police officer by his side during the tragic attack on Dallas police officers during a downtown rally on July 7, 2016. They became some of the most widely published images of that event, appearing on CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, FOX, and Huffington Post, as well as in international media outlets.
