Zechs's illustrations have appeared in numerous books, comics, and films (as a story board artist) since 2002. A visual and plastic artist, and musician!, by nature, Zechs began his career assisting and monitoring comics and drawing classes at the legendary Estúdio Pinheiros (Pine Tree Studio), in São Paulo, Brazil.
He has taken part in performances in a multitude of individual and collective exhibitions, including the Epicentro Cultural, Galeria Vermelho, Cardápio Underground, Casa Trinta, AVAV, AVAV Live Paint, Feira Plana, Feira Impressa, to name a few. He has produced independent interactive animation for the web, copyright soundtracks, and compositions on Digital, Electronic, and instrumental Acoustic arrangements.
An occultist and autodidact by nature, Zechs revels in producing work that intermingles science with fantasy, geometry with symbolism, and archetypes with semiotics—all initiatives found in the interrelations between language, ancestral history, and cognitive memory. In his universe, politics and fiction merge as timeless auras.
