The New Engagement literature and art journal celebrates and champions the voices of the LGBTQI community—gay men and women, transgender men and woman, queer and intersex people, those questioning, and anyone who rejects, or simply shrugs off, the binary restrictions of gender, sex, behavior, or roles—in short fiction, novel excerpts, essays, poetry, drama, short films, paintings, illustrations, mixed-media, and digital art. The following works span our growing catalogue of monthly online issues and will reguarly rotate to hightlight all of our talented authors and artists.
