Resistance

The New Engagement literature and art journal celebrates and champions the voices of those who fight back, refuse to accept the status quo, and call out the unacceptable actions taken by anyone, be it a modest merchant or a world leader, but particularly those in status stations and with predatory sensibilities. In our short stories, essays, poetry, plays, short films, photography, illustrations, and paintings the thinkers and artists who submit to our journal call to account the commonplace modes of oppression that we all too willingly ignore or fail to recognize, as well as the more egregious, demonstrative political policies fomented by unethical and venal power brokers.
